Internship at Capture Marketing

Starting this semester I have been working as an intern for Capture Marketing. Capture is a marketing and Public Relations firm based in Pewaukee Wisconsin. Capture has a wide range of clients including the J.J. Watt foundation, Gold in Septmeber, and My Amazing Monster. My primary duties at Capture are writing press releases and nominations, talking with potential sponsors for events, and researching. Here are some of my recent works.

Many parts of my internship focus on public relations, research and writing.

The document on the far left is a Eureka Award nomination for Beth Cimler. The Eureka Award is designed to recognize people that have contributed innovative ideas to society and exemplify community leadership. Cimler is a local author who wrote the children's book "My Amazing Monster Goes to the Hospital." The purpose of the book is to bring comfort to people who are struggling with illness of themselves or a loved one. To learn more, feel free to read the whole nomination.

The excel document is a compellation of research on large print publications that would be interested in covering an event that provides free cruises to families that have lost a loved one in the military. This was the first time I had to contact national publication sources. Up until this point they had all been local.

The word document on the far right is one of many press releases that I have done for Capture. This particular one was for an event titled "Doing Good is Good Business" and centered on the benefits of cause marketing and being a charitable business. Feel free to contact me about other public relations works I have done in the past.
